在車縫時，使用一般萬用靴車縫，只有下送布齒推布，如車縫厚布如夾棉布，上層布料會因壓腳壓力而拉長(可調教靴壓之衣車，在車縫厚布如羊羔絨等布料時，也會出現上層布料拉長之情況)。

而安裝均勻送布靴後，由於上下均有送布齒，所以車縫時可同時推上下層布料，因此避免了出現上層布料拉長之情況。
