刺子編織中「刺子」是日本東北自古以來就有的手工藝品。刺子編織是用傳統織布機用線精細縫製棉或亞麻製成的溫暖耐用的織物。透過在經線和緯線中添加第三根稱為繡線的線，創建圖案的「刺繡」和「織物本身的編織」同時完成。據說織1公尺要花一個小時。

清洗方法 : 
建議獨立手洗，泡到溫水裡，不需用清潔劑，勿強力刷洗，有髒污處局部使用少量稀釋過的中性清潔劑輕柔輕刷即可，晾曬時也盡量避免陽光直曬，可晾於陽台陰乾。少曬太陽、不要經常洗、 平常也需收納於夾鏈袋置於抽屜陰暗避光處。

由於布料為藍泥天然藍染色，沒有使用任何化學固色劑，所以會稍微的褪色是很正常的，只是染完色之後，前面幾次的洗滌，會釋放出纖維表面的雜色素，這會讓藍染衣服的顏色越顯乾淨喔，這時的釋放雜色素，並不屬於褪色。由於藍染的染液是鹼性，不需使用醋來定色。
